From the quarry to the site
We have worked the limestone of these hills since 1987. We do one thing, and do it well: stone that stays outside, in sun and rain, for generations.
How we work
Four steps, always by the same hands: from the bed in the hills to the pallet at your site.
Quarry
We open the quarry face bed by bed and keep only sound beds, free of cracks and clay.
Splitting
Each block is split by hand along its natural plane. That is what keeps the face alive, with no two pieces alike.
Sorting and pallets
We sort by tone and size and stack the pallets with the larger pieces at the bottom, ready to lay.
Delivery and laying
The crane lorry sets the pallets down where the mason needs them. If you wish, we recommend laying crews in your area.
In a few lines
We run our own quarry and splitting yard, a team of stonemasons, and crane lorries that deliver across mainland Portugal. We do not sell stone for kitchens or interiors.
